Hey all,

I'm after some lowering springs for the alto (HA21S)

I can find them over in Japan, but buyee won't ship them :(

I do have a little shopping list as well if anyone's got these parts:

Roof weather strip passengers side

Front passengers side interior trim (The one directly under the door)

HT07 turbo

Cheers

Tom

Hi Tom,

It's odd that buyee won't ship springs. The set of 4 with the box weigh 7-8kg and the box is relatively small. I've had a set shipped last year using seamail shipping method. Shipping was arround £40-45, but takes 2-3months.
You might want to try using "remambo.jp" i've had big stuff sent by them multiple times using both sea and air. (springs, steering knuckles, steering rack, door panels ...)

I'm actually about to replace my set of springs with coilovers. So i might sell them. Just need to find time to do it. (and decent weather...)

For the strip it's ~£28 new from suzuki japan.

I've substituted the stock roof strip with just standard weather strip on one of my Alto. It looks all right and protects the roof welds. I'll take a photo tomorrow if you want.

The door step trim is litterally worth nothing on yahoo auction. there is a set of good used ones for £5 page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/q187647155

HT07 are getting rarer by the day in japan. you won't find one under £300-350 without shipping and tax...

i've got several orders currently on buyee that will be ready to ship next month. If you want to join to save some dough you're welcome.

Marc, well done. I don't know how you find these things so easily!

With the weather strip do you know if it comes with the rubber moulding bit (Front and back.) That's the only but I'm after really. I can get a picture to make more sense of what I'm saying.

As for the springs, if you're willing to part with them, great! If not, no sweat. I've messaged buyee and they said they'd unblock the auction and ship them for me.

Door trim - Once again, spot on. Thank you.

HT07, they do seem to be very rare indeed. I might just have to put that TD04 on!

Cheers

Tom

I've been playing with rare japanese import for years, so i know where and how to look for parts. ;)

On your roof weather stip, if you're looking for the "end caps" they are sold separatly, they cost ~£1.5 each:

Driver side rear: store.shopping.yahoo.co.jp/suzukimotors-...st_shsrg_title&ea=13

Passenger side front: store.shopping.yahoo.co.jp/suzukimotors-dop-net/ufgg782f-9.html

Paasenger side rear: store.shopping.yahoo.co.jp/suzukimotors-...itemlist_shsrg_title

The HT07 turbo was used on the Nissan Figaro,so search ebay for second hand or message sellers who are breaking cars.

Be careful, the HT07 on the nissan figaro has a very different exhaust housing, it won't mount to the Alto manifold.

The only HT07 that mount are the 2-3 variants used on the Wagon R "wide" in Japan.

I did notice they were a few types. I'll look a bit deeper in to which code is the correct one.

As soon as I get some springs I'll send that CV joint over to you - Assuming you still need it. Makes sense to do the drive shafts and springs at the same time. :)
