L'Gee maybe dead.....
well found out today that Tue am he'll be going to the repair centre, where i have no idea, and to take out any personal items, Tax disc etc.
stereo out, speakers, new aux socket put in last sunday!
plus.....ssshhhhh....rear door E/W switches which look suspiciously similar to Beat ones and a few other items
so......it looks like au revoir
I assumed it would go to a repairers first but went on a full size transporter to what appears to be a salvagers.
I guess that an engineer will inspect the car and then ball starts rolling.
Not going to buy back, not enough parts that will fit the Beat engine wise so that's it.........gone for god unless a miracle occurs!
Looking at moment for 'normal' replacement, the Subaru is just a tad too far out there without more research and possible Insurance problems as per the Life.
I would still ask the question, because a few years ago I got offered a buy back on my polo van for free lol.
So it worked out that I made more money to spend on a new car, just by keeping it, and selling it on as a write off
Well if your looking for something boxy again, and something cheap to insure, reliable, and relatively easy to find parts for, may I suggest a Daihatsu Move (^_^)
Still no news on the Life front yet......however we do have replacement.
Not Kei and the Panasports that we 'ahem' don't have definitely won't fit, sorry, wouldn't fit
