Recently bought a Mira Classic thought its looks to good to miss, car now called The Bug. Great Fun to drive. Only down side seems to getting parts, any ideas for, Cam-belt, pads, air filter, fuel filter. Any owners in the Camberley area? Cheers Gerry
Hi Gerry and welcome.
I'm sure some other Mira owners will be along soon to give their advice. I seem to remember that camskill did some parts. they certainly stock Avanzato bits but not sure what was interchangeable between models to be honest.

Hey and welcome,
Camskill are probably your best bet for parts. As far as I'm aware, they can get pretty much anything you need for the car from Japan (recently ordered a set of rear brake shoes and cylinders which have just arrived after a while). I'm pretty certain that anything that you need that isn't listed can be obtained, so you'll just have to ask them. Daihatsu UK should also be able to get anything you need as well, the guys on the phone were pretty helpful to me, except I went with Camskill instead.
As far as I'm aware, most of the car is the same as the TR-XX Avanzato, except it has the three cylinder EF-RL engine instead of the 4 cylinder JB-JL engine, so in terms of engine parts I'm not too sure whether or not Camskill have bits for the engine. But again, I'm pretty sure they can obtain them for you. Really great service from those guys.

Most of the parts are common to other Daihatsus, it's just a matter of sussing out which ones! The earlier Avanzatos had the same 3 cylinder engine, so air filters and cambelts etc, are the same. I think the front discs are from a Move, my local motor factors got them (by trial and error!).
There's plenty of helpful people on here who know a lot more about it than me, and they've always been very quick to give advice.
Hi and welcome to kkitp.
I've found most basic service parts are available from local autofactors(such as Camberleys)
If you require harder parts to obtain such as gaskets and engine tuning parts, they normally seem to be readily available from Malaysia
