hi all, i have always love the little jap cars and am currantly on my 4th Toyota starlet glanza v running just over 240 bhp, but am wanting a new smaller challenge
, im hoping to ether get a AVANZATO or a CAPPUCCINO
im swaying towards the zato for the 4x4 and the possibility to greatly reduce the weight even further and the challange of custom building and fabricating s/s manifold down pipe and hopefully run external waste gate and a td04 or a VF series turbo and go crazy custom on the same as my glanza

there is a few question tho if any of you guys could answer

are ether of the zato or cup have forged engines from the factory like the charade gtti?

what boost can you safely run with support mods, full breathing mods, fcd/ piggy back / standalone ecu on both

dose the cup have a lsd fitted if so what type of lsd

thanks in advance guys, would be massively helpful if any 1 can answer the questions

Hi :welcome:

I'm safely running 1.2 bar and will hopefully be running 1.3-1.4 bar after ive managed to source all the parts for an engine refresh  :thumb:

I'm also runing standalone ecu along with many other mods that were required to get it all running peachy

Now happily(and safely) running 106bhp but hoping to eventually get it around the 130bhp mark.

bit of an update, yesterday i took a 11 hour round trip to pick up i_projex white zato, i was a bit worried about doing 150 miles on the motor way as i have a heavy right foot but it was a little star, it happily sat at 70/80 the hole way and after the drive home it was pulling  a lot stronger then the first time i drove it that day. i can honistly say its the most fun ive had in a car and have had loads of massive power big jdm turbo cars but the zato just makes me smile as its so small and nimble.
i plan on getting more power out of it very soon as got a glanza tmic sat in garage and that will be fitted soon intill i can get the pipe work done for fmic and a custom decat made up
any way heres a pic of when i first become the owner

Congratulations on your purchase.  Glad the car has stayed in the club.
If you decide to remove the Bakushimas reversing siren let me know.

cheers guys, adam i like the random little jdmnes of the reversing siren but if i ever do come to sell it you have first refusal, i will be starting a build thread soon and once my glanza has been sold will have a gareg for her to live in so i can start taking her apart and getting to work on the engine
