emo Daihatsu Mira: compomotive th 14" ( now with pictures)

We hired a digger n dumper to do a concrete base at home n I rolled the dumper which through me hand first through a fence.

That was a month ago n I didn't go hospital coz didn't feel that bad, but yesterday whilst pulling sum cables at work something went crack in that wrist n it ain't stoped hurting since

May need to bore out the studs slightly to make them fit, and although normal nuts will fit, I'd recommend wobble nuts so they definatly sit flush on the wheels :thumb:

I've had the centre bored out on 2 sets now and they fit perfectly, I just took standard wheel in so they could get it spot on.

And et0 is the mounting face on back of wheel is dead central, plus offset means the wheels will sit further back, negative offset means the wheels will sit further out(which means lots of dish lol)

Hope that helps dude

And cheers Em

Russ: not sure if it's any help mate, but off the top of my head the c/b of 'zato'ss is 67mm ... although I'd recommend whipping a wheel off and measuring as I may be wrong

Chris: thanks for that! Found a few old posts of yours today saying that ( or very similar) its a toss up between the compomotive th 14" or some 13". I'd benefit from the 14" though with ground clearance and little bit in gearing.

Found some arches as well like in the above picture. Currently getting some quotes at body shops.

How's your zatos?

Ok it's a toss up between ET23 or ET45

http://kgm.tiwing.com/calcs/offsetcalc.htm

I'm personally thinking 45 and if there inner edge of the rim is too close then use a spacer.

What do you reckon?

Russ, just a thought if you do go for spacers work out the cost and hassle involved in getting longer wheel studs.
I was planning to do R2 and it worked out spacers and new studs was going to come to over £90.00.
Also you might have to factor in new slimline wheel nuts to the cost.

Good point!
I think this is why I didn't bother last time lol.

I persume 8mm less is a measurement from the edge of the rim? I'm not going to fully know until I bolt a rim and tyre on.  >:(

Good find Ben! Refurbished in black would look quite nice. Probably get away with 175/185 tyres on as well.

I do like the compomotive th though  ::)

et45 may be close to the inside edge but its hard to say definat clearance unless you try fitting one the same size.

i have fitted longer studs on mine, and also have a set of wheel spacers which arnt being used.

Was thinking of going wider and lower with my zato before i tryed the toyo r888`s but i love the stance and look ive achieved as is so they have never even been fitted ::)
