picked this wee wagon up in Dublin march 2012 ,, drove it back to donegal no problems, stuck on a set of works and took it to the head to head challenge on rally weekend where it performed great beating much bigger engined cars till the brakes went
since i knew what it was capable of i decided to tidy it up a bit and fix any problems as its a cool wee car
new brake cylinder from 99 shape alto
new wheel bearing from suzuki super carry van
rear diff and transfer box removed to go and meet the arc welder
dirty engine bay with oil everywhere, battery is bigger than the engine
as it sits now,, few more wee bits to do and then it will hopefully be time for kei drifting

impossible to get brakes for this,, so bought ones as close as i could get,,
cut them up and welded them to the old ones,,, fitted and work well!
trying wheels
in the bodyshop now for a re-paint and tidy up and possible nctbt:)
got a set of these,, were a bit too wide and roundy so cut them up a bit
all primed,,
just a wee test of these colours,, prob goina go for the dark brown/bronze over grey,
bita painting
satin bronze pearl,,,, made a batch of this stuff for doing wheels but liked it so much i made some more and did the car,, satin makes it look nice and straight too as i dont really have the time at the min to a proper restoration-repaint and spend hours straightning and block sanding it,,
thanks for the comments,
taxed it and had it on road all weekend , thanks to stoksey and baz82 for sorting out headlightsbt:)
all was going good till this happened,, i suppose the back end wasnt made to handle the whole 67bhp,, poor transfer box
couldnt really afford the 400e transfer pinion so got a 180 diff i had lying about and did a bit of measuring and machining, was a good fit in the rear seal so lathed both ends, got it centre drilled for a dowel and welded her up,
couldnt use the alto coupling as it was way too small so cut down a nissan one and drilled it out to match the original one
crashuuu driftoooooo(rrfl:
so i gave the alto a black eye on new years day,, along with forgetting i had a full tank of juice and a lot of hero driving my diff bust and send me 1 wheeling into clay bank,
also killed the clutsh trying to move it while the wheel was pushed back
wasnt sure if i would fix it but did a few hours pulling and it came back into shape well so i decided to paint the bay when i had the engine out for the new clutch anyway
