emo Silverstone Classic - 24th, 25th and 26th July 2015 - Silverstone

01 Apr 2015 18:31 #23976

Something new to us and something that looks like great fun! I was really excited about taking part until I realised I'll be on my honeymoon :pinch:

However, though I won't be able to make it this year I'd still like some volunteers to go if they can, represent the club and report back on how the day went. Let us know if it's worth looking into for next year too (it'll be our 10th anniversary next year).

To book:
KKITP’s dedicated code for the event is C1525085. You will need to enter this code on www.silverstoneclassic.com/buytickets to gain access to the Car Club Display Packages.

You need to know:
The package includes two general admission Event Tickets and one infield vehicle display pass for your allocated club display area. These can only be purchased by using the booking code dedicated to each individual car club (C1525085 in our case). Ticket prices include a booking fee but a transaction fee per order will be applicable. Group bookings are available. This offer is only available until 31st May 2015.

Important Dates
Event Dates: 24th– 26th July 2015
Set up Times: Thursday 23rd July between 10:00hrs and 20:00hrs
Early Bird Tickets: Available until 31st March 2015
Advance Tickets: Available 1st April to 31st May 2015
Club biog for event programme: by Friday 5th June 2015
We close car club bookings in advance of the event so that we may better plan for the day and ensure we are able to provide a high level of service to all car clubs, issuing the coordinators and their members with more detailed information prior to their arrival on site. This will include club infield display area location and entrance route to venue.

Clubhouse Hospitality
Clubhouse hospitality, located in the Jimmy Brown Centre in the National Paddock overlooking the old start/finish line, is especially aimed at car club members and those that like to base themselves in the northern infield, the real heart of the event.
Clubhouse hospitality is very competitively priced at £99 per head plus VAT and includes:
 Bacon rolls (with vegetarian alternative)
 2 course buffet lunch
 Afternoon Tea
 Tea & Coffee
 Water & Juice
 Pay Bar
 Official Souvenir Programme
 Trackside Viewing
 TV screens with live feed
 Daily newspapers
 Guest appearance from Mike Brewer of Discovery Channel’s Wheeler Dealers on Sunday
Should you have bookings of ten or more, and would like your table to be personalised to your Club, please contact us to discuss your requirements. Options include naming tables in consideration of your club, dressing tables with Club Literature and giveaways etc.
For more information visit www.silverstoneclassic.com/clubhouse .

Camping is available at Silverstone Woodlands campsite located adjacent to the southern boundary of the venue, within walking distance of Gate 15. Mains showers and toilets are provided in purpose built buildings, and other on-site facilities include a general store and the “Petrol Head” pub. Electrical hook up is also available to purchase. Camping tickets can be purchased at the same time as Event Tickets. Sleeping or camping inside the circuit venue is not permitted. For more information www.silverstoneclassic.com/classiccamping .

Infield Vehicle Display Passes
Infield vehicle display passes, issued as part of a car club display package, are for display vehicles only and are only valid for parking within the designated car club display area. Any vehicle parked outside their display area is liable to be removed.
Given the large public spectator levels at the Silverstone Classic, display vehicle movements on the infield are restricted to outside of 10:00 to 17:00 hrs. Therefore, to ensure that your members gain access to your club stand, we request that they arrive before 10:00 hrs and do not leave before 17:00 hrs. The only exception to this ruling is for vehicles entered into any track parade; these vehicles will receive written instructions from the event organisers regarding signing on, track assembly area, timings, etc. via their club prior to the event. Please note there will be some holding time prior to a parade when participating vehicles may need to be in parade assembly areas, which aren’t within their usual club display area, and possibly some holding time after a track parade whilst we return vehicles to their respective display areas. The exact timings of these will depend on the size of the parade.
