Yesterday I went to Cadwell with Rally sneeze and it was awesome. I thought I wouldn't be able to keep up with the regular cars on track as its pretty much mechanically standard, but Cadwell has a few tricky corners that make it a good leveller. Anyway I won't bore you too much, all I'll say is if you're thinking about doing one, do it and a session with the instructor can be a great help.

Here's a couple of not great pics:

I'm hoping to get some more pics in a few days as a couple of the marshals were taking pics for me as well ... It helps to go with a friend who's a marshal at the track ;)

Cadwell is a great circuit for little cars. I had a bit of fun with an M3 out there who ended up letting me past so he could watch me through the corners ... little rally car likes the bends

I worked out my mpg on track ... 17 ... oops... but 90-95% of the time is full throttle.
Whats slightly worrying though is my last session, with the instructor, I used alot more fuel than the other sessions, so it will prob be lower next time  :driverninja:

Good stuff, nice to see the rally car used for what it was intended.  With a power boost it'll be a proper beast around a tight circuit.

Car looks good on track, can see the rear wheel starting to lift in the third pic  :D

Also I bought a great little video camera recently if you wanted to get some onboard action, they're called an md80 and you can usually get them for around

Cheers guys, I'm really looking forward to Rockingham after yesterday.

BenG: my mate has one of those cameras, he was going to bring with him, but he forgot it :(

Old-uns: The engine is pretty much standard atm, so I'm not going to be tearing away from anyone, I don't think I got over 90mph yesterday. I only passed people when they let me ... after seeing me in their mirrors for a corner or two ... It was a novice day, so no real racers/racing.

90 is still more than 86 though :)
