Almost a KEI suzuki soon...
My 2004 Microcar is playing up so as of wednesday I will have a suzuki alto GL 1998.
size is Kei but not engine as it is a 998cc automatic.
Not got it home yet but looking forward to it.
Photos when my father in law gets it home.
Down here is Cornwall in Penzance area there are at least 4 Copens that I know of.
Best one is in subaru colours, dark blue with gold minilite style alloys.
I want one but cost too much for me.
If money was no object, i'd love a old skool mk1 (SS80S) love old skool Japs
Had a quick round block test drive last nite.
it's a pocket rocket!
really nice to drive.
gonna take a bit get used to where the controls are.
MOT due on 25th this month so need get it checked over.
got tons of receipts and bill of sale, cost 10K in 1998.
Everyday driver but if can get upgrades cheap enough will "tart" it up.
would like to replace the steel wheels with alloys.
already has wind deflector fitted always wanted these on a car.
It's only car I have driven on road (my classic don't count as never been on road) without central locking.
Waiting to sort insurance out on it and take my french microcar off road for essential repairs.
But mot is 26th this month too so need get it checked over.
In great condition with lots recepits and bill of sale.
Not bad for £150 at a car auction!

1998 Daihatsu Mira L512 TR-XX Avanzato R4
1996 BMW E36 Compact
2000 Perodua Nippa L201 (Sold)
1998 Toyota Soarer JZZ30 (Sold)
all my glass says maruti on them, so does this mean mine is made in india?
Only been driving it since friday night and noticed already that it is not as good on fuel as my microcar.
Not drastically it is about 20-25 miles per £10 of fuel (fuel is 104.7 at time)
in my microcar car £10 will do week to work and back.
In the alto need another 30 miles so little more is not bad.
It is nice to drive and great visibility for reversing, even if it does steam up inside quickly.
looking forward to my time with this car...
So here is my little pocket rocket...
It's doing 33-35MPG not too bad for a 993cc auto.
