I'm restoring a 1970 Austin 1300 Vanden Plas Princess.
One of only 3 made.
It's black with green interior and automatic.
Owners club has confirmed this.
This is when we bought it.
Whole album on my facebook profile.
Lots of work done.
that whole front end has almost been replaced with a hand made panel as cost way too much to buy new.
Right now it is just a bare shell with no running gear at all in it.
Hit snag though as my dad too busy to finish it so looking for a m8 or cheap mechanic to finish it.
This is not my first classic.
my first and still in family although it has never been on road in time we had it as needs restoration.
My first was a 1969 riley elf (mini with boot)
I built and run owners club website but not the club, I only run the site not owner of club.
Since the Elf I had a 1970 Austin 1300 (fester) then a blue 1966 austin 1100 which is a donor car the 1300 VDP restoration.
So here some photos
Still lots to do and now looking for someone to finish it.

All the white is new metal hand beaten and gas welded in.
You would never know if it not for colour change.
Gota little funding and hope to renew the project.
Hope get it done for 2017 show season.
