New Alto Works owner
Looks smart, I know what the wait is like as we imported some cars from Japan.
The waiting for the car itself and also then waiting for the paperwork to register it, is a pain in the backside (>_<)
But should be worth it when it's all done
Hah, yeah. I'm imported a few times before but this feels like an age
I;ve had a rethink on plans and decided:
1. Manual Boost controller at 1 bar inc gauge
2. Apexi Panel filter
3. HKS Bov (not normally my style at all, but a bit of fun)
I'll leave it at that for upgrades and enjoy the car for a while before considering whats next. Of course I will ensure its all serviced etc and everything in good order. I had been looking at the Link Atom ecu etc but I decided to go with a cheap boost first and enjoy.
Sensible mods, should be plenty fun! Any pics of your bnr32? I used to own a rare blue r32 gtr when I still lived in the Netherlands, drove it in Japan before importing, remember that was quite a long wait.. Miss it dearly and now I drive a slow hybrid... Maybe one day I'll get one again but prices are only going up now that the US can import them. What import service are you using if I may ask?
Yeah I think its a good start
The r32 is very much a rebuild, not many pics but it was sitting for over 5 years with a dead engine. Now looking a bit better Lots of new bits, full bare respray etc. Getting there.
Started in a bad way:
But getting better
Everything rebuilt or new. Currently just had the box and clutch put in, now onto top engine stuff. Cant wait, its been nearly 2 years
Ok, car is here
MOT'd but still awaiting the NOVA document to register it.
Car has adjustable aftermarket rear suspension and "Suzuki Works" front, not sure if that's standard or not. Exhaust might be aftermarket too, no cat. Bodywork not great but can be sorted, interior is superb.
Horn and hazard lights need attention, maybe a fuse or wire somewhere. Needs new tyres too which I'll get. Brakes are perfect which is a bonus.
Will keep updating as I go
