Sorry Mark, after much head banging i have ended up with this combo , you have to look hard to see it's not JB-JL.
going to be a lot more driveable now with the smaller turbo and i have targeted only 60-70kw for this little car, which will still make it fun and economical.The jb/jc combo was a mismatch, without having the crank and rods to go with it. In something like this move ,that combo would be a pain in traffic anyway, as this is destined to be my new daily.
Hello guy's, Have not posted for a while time for an update. Finally got around to removing the engine/trans.
Have decided to fit the big block EJ 989cc and 4/speed auto to the move and turbocharge it will finish up with a lot more torque and that's more suitable for something like this move rather than the high revving small capacity JB-JL which is more suited to the lightweight Mira shell. Auto because it should be able to handle the extra torque of a turbocharged EJ and where the 5FMT Move/Mira box has proven to fail.
