Project Jap Wagon
Hi all, even though i have already started modding the daihatsu move+ im guna share my build with you, to give an idea of how it looked when i first got it im going to have to steal dazrans pic as i dont have any of when it was standard.
Pics to come as i get through it all
heres what it looked like standard, sorry for stealing the pic dazran , by the way its a 98 R reg uk spec with 45k miles on clock
great minds think alike dazran, im goin full matt black with mine with yellow jap graphics, only part way there with the paint but the graphics are on. :thumb:
Plenty to do to it including an upgraded ice install which an audio company mate of mine is doin for
Hmm i think that will look rather smart once its done
If no luck finding springs, mines on cut springs, and out handles just about everything...as long as you dont mind a bumpy ride :
soz dude my wheelies are perfect on my lil move so they wont be going anywhere
Just outa curiosity, what does the writing say in yellow?
Hmm wheel wise i think if the whole cars going black, maby a bright lip with a black center would look smart :ninja:
yea thats what i was planning wheel wise, yellow lip black centre
as for the writing, i asked a chinese guy i know who can read kanji and he says the front means feed the dragon and the back means kill all rapists, duno how accurate the back is but he said he wouldnt drive it in his community lol
i cant be doing with bumpy rides i had that with my mk2 polo squareback, lowered it 60/40 on standard shocks and wish i hadnt lol
so looks like ill have the learn japanese and order things from over there :thumb:
by the way MOT is due 30th nov so i took it to my garage today for a check over and other than a new wiper nothings wrong so its booked in on 1st nov for its mot
Lol to the back sticker
Oh, i dont mind bumpy...as long as it has atleast 1 inch ground clearance, and/or you dont need a kidney belt to drive it, i deem it as practical still :ninja:
And hey retro veedubs were made to be on the floor
If you do start bringing parts ova or find somewhere that sells uprated move parts, id be rather intrested to know where and how much on shipping, as i wouldnt mind some diffrent indicators for the front.
Good luck with the mot dude :thumb:
Have you got any performance mods planed for the lil beaut?
i was thinking bike engine until you mentioned it in one of your other posts lol but i think ill go down the modifing this engine route
plans to start would be, remove the airbox and fit an enclosed induction kit, thinking along blitz/hks route
then ill probably go to zorstec as there are close by to do a full s/s system exhaust
ill keep to them 2 things for now but if i come across a cam for it or can get one reprofiled then ill look into further tuning, maybe a superchip or go down the carbed route with some ignition management :thumb:
All to come in future depends what i can find
On the subject of containers, a company in hull called mobile mini rent them out at
