I've found it under the bonnet tucked away in the wiring loom, where can i get a scanner so i can check for any codes etc. My obd 2 scanner wont connect as the plug is different.
OR does any one know which pins i can probe? maybe the ECU will flash in sequence?

Please don't try this until someone can confirm it incase it shorts out your circuit, but the Beat one you can short the plug out and it makes the ecu light flash in sequence. BUT DONT TRY IT YET in case it damages your ECU. Just a thought.

I really need to read the codes as my EM light is still coming on even after the speedo is fixed. Who knows which pins i need to bridge? 6+3?

If you could post it up I'm sure someone in the future will find it useful, if you're feeling generous

;)

I'll try and take a pic of the plug and highlight the 2 pins that need to be bridged. The EM light simply flashes in a certain sequence once the ignition is on. To clear the codes you simply disconnect the earth cable off the battery for approx 10 seconds.

CODE 13 CRANK SENSOR 1 FLASH pause 3 FLASH
CODE 21 OXYGEN SENSOR 2 FLASH pause 1 FLASH
CODE 31 PRESSURE SENSOR 3 FLASH pause 1 FLASH
CODE 42 COOLANT TEMP SENSOR 4 FLASH pause 2 FLASH
CODE 43 INTAKE AIR TEMP SENSOR 4 FLASH pause 3 FLASH
CODE 52 SPEED SENSOR 5 FLASH pause 2 FLASH

While the pins are bridged the EM light will flash in a certain sequence (depending on the problem) and will repeat. Once the problem is fixed disconnect and reconnect the battery. rebridge the pins and the EM light will flash very fast indicating no fault codes.

It'd be good to meet up sometime, maybe we should sort a time/date and we can get a mini meet with some other locals if they're around.
