Hey all,

Basically, my turbo manifold has a great, big, dirty crack in it. Beyond repair to be honest. Does anyone have a spare turbo manifold kicking around that I could buy off of them? Or know where I could purchase one, or get one made up?

Thanks

I posted in the parts thread ages ago the part number and cost of a manifold which was 17141-87235-000 and £109.54. I ordered it direct through a daihatsu. From what other people have said on other posts I believe cams kill can order parts direct from daihatsu but I could be wrong. Either way, the part numbers for the manifold to engine and manifold to turbo are also in the parts thread.

When i ordered mine a few years ago the delivery was only a few weeks from Japan too.

Thanks! I might check it out. The only thing concerning me is that they seem to have a tendency to crack, which is what is pushing me towards getting an aftermarket one instead.

Bit the bullet and bought a 4 branch stainless manifold with flange for the standard turbo from GFast Motorsport, in Malaysia. We'll see how it turns out!

I wonder if its possible for folks to sort manifolds out in the UK? if we had a pattern one to replicate I know a few chaps who can turn out quality stuff, in a much shorter time scale, built to your spec. Here is one just made for my car, its a work of art, local and the man knows his mustard... got to be easier than long-distance hope?

Probably would be quicker, but I need my car daily for work and considering that the JB-JL turbocharged Daihatsu engines are incredibly popular in Malaysia and they have a huge tuning market, I felt that buying one from there where they make plenty of them would be a good shout. Sort of "proven" quality I guess.
