So I have just brought my self my 5 kei in total that I have owned, got her cheap with a few issues but good history and most importantly the 659cc turbo lump.
As most of u know I have a problem with keeping anything standard so will be fun see what the copen can do. Hopefully collecting her this week and will get some pictures up, from the info I've found much is the same as on the miras in suspension wise so mite be robbing my l2 for coilovers and bits

Looking forward to seeing what you do to the Copen. We've seen them visually modified but don't think many have gone down the full on modified route...

im not going o touch the extira apart from wheels, tinted windows and ful blakc roof, most mods will be home built engine mods, as already got a nubmer of bits sat in garage from the miras

As we were saying yesterday, should all be fairly similar to the Mira's so should be fairly straight forwards(^_^)

Oh and if you need a spare Copen head I've got one as I have no use for it, I just wanted the complete engine block :)

i mite have to grab the head of oyu at some point mate, so can send it off for a bit of work.

finally spent half a day today and got the roof sorted, after working my round the owners manual and all 140+ pages just for the roof i managed to diagnosed that the roof ecu was dead so picked up a new 1 and plugged it and not have a fully working roof on the copen,


this was the dead ecu

now just need to sell the mira so can have some fun with the copen

heres a few pics of how she was when i got her in the sorry state
, the boot was half open so boot was full of water, but the 100miles drive home was really good, it is the most composed kei car ive driven and handles really well, no body roll and generally a nice place to be sat

Yeah that's fine dude, just gime a heads up as it's still on the block ATM to keep it clean and sealed inside whilst I get the rest of the bits 1st.

Any recommendations on somewhere reputable to get head work done as I need a jbjl head reworked for that engine.

the picture are misleading mate, the front end is really clean and tidy up up to the the rear panels, they have been rust treated and rust cut out, welded and repainted and they done a shocking job on the paint work and rust is comign through again in 2 places, so gotta take it back to the metal to see what they did and sort that then will more than likely i will plastidip her white along with some new wheels in black, red, blue of white, which every comes up first really

ok mate, think i got some 1 coming down on weekend to have a look at the l2 so mite have some cash once she sells, u ok if i pass oyur number on to the new owner for parts and the turbo if they want it

Yeah that's fine, if there not local(long way up north) and they defo want the turbo let them know it may be worth stopping by and picking it up on way past to save costs and risking damage for posting it out.

I look forwards to see it sporting it's new colours (^_^)
Any plans for over fenders or bodykit?
