So before anyone spots an AZ-1 in
workshop and wonders what's going on I'll own up here, they are doing a Hayabusa engine conversion for me.
No pics yet as we only spent a few hours yesterday discussing the project but as soon as I've got some I'll post them here.
Unfortunately it won't be done in time for this years annual meet but it will be back next year on our stands at various shows
It should be a lot simpler than doing a cappo - basically off the shelf parts from their Mini/Hayabusa kit on the AZ-1 subframe and suspension - so an already tried and tested setup.
I will lose some/all of the luggage space behind the seats so I guess I wont be able to take the car to Tesco anymore but that looks to be the biggest problem and I can live with that
Hope they do a better job with it than Hamza's Cappo though... he's still having teething troubles some years later
Is that the black one that's pushing over 400bhp with the sequential gearbox? Saw a video of one the other day and I had a moment.
